Blue Raiders fall in battle with No. 19 Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Middle Tennessee men's tennis traveled to East Lansing on Sunday, Feb. 4 to take on No. 19 Michigan State. MTSU fought hard but dropped the match 2-5.
The Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point winning on court No. 1 and No. 2. Javier Cueto Ramos and Jakub Kroslak dominated on court No. 1 6-0 to defeat No. 45 Sebastian Collard and Ronlad Hohmann. On court No. 2, Ondrej Horak and Leo Raquin secured the doubles point tallying a 6-4 victory over Baris and Alazmeh.
The Spartans won on court No. 6 and No. 5 to give MSU a 2-1 lead. Horak defeated Collard on court No. 3 7-5, 6-4 to tie the score at 2-2. On court No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4, the Blue Raiders battled to a third set on all three courts but fell short.
