Women's Golf completes second round at Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Monday afternoon marked the conclusion of the second round at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate for the Middle Tennessee women's golf program, who sits 14th in the team competition. The Blue Raiders shot a combined 300 on the day to shift to 596 (+28) overall.
Caroline Pardue shot the low round for Middle Tennessee Monday at a one-over-par 72. Her back nine was a rough start, but she was able to find consistency at the turn, dropping in three birdies on the front nine. She sits in 24th place in the individual competition.
Isabella Johnson also sits tied for 24th place overall after turning in a 73 (+2) on the day. She made the turn at two-under after a bogey-free back nine but struggled on the front for a combined 144 between the two days of competition.
Abbie Lee shot a four-over-par 75 on Monday, accompanied by two birdies, one on each nine. She ranks 60th on the player leaderboard.
Brylee Crouse will look to bounce back in the final round after a tough second round that saw her card an 80 (+9) to shift to 70th in the player competition.
Jinger Heath was able to avoid large numbers for a big part of the day and saw her score drop round-over-round to an 81 (+10) to move up to 77th overall.
The Blue Raiders will tee off for the final round Tuesday morning partnered with East Tennessee State and Jax State.
