Lee fires a career-low as Women's Golf completes Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's golf program closed out the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate with its lowest team round of the tournament, a 292 (+8) to climb up two spots on the team leaderboard. The Blue Raiders completed the tournament in 12th place, turning in an 888 overall.
Isabella Johnson once again was the low finisher for Middle Tennessee, shooting another round at par (71) to wrap up the tournament in 20th. The finish marks her fourth-consecutive top 20 finish and her third-straight competition at 215 (+2).
It was moving day for Abbie Lee, who fired a four-under-par 67 to wrap up her second competition of the season. She dropped in her first collegiate hole-in-one on hole 12, marking her second eagle of the tournament and the only ace of the tournament for any competitor. She skyrocketed 29 places to finish 31st overall.
The remaining three athletes all shot a 77 (+6) in the third round to complete their competition. Caroline Pardue finished 40th on the player leaderboard with a combined score of 221. Brylee Crouse was able to bounce back after a difficult second round to finish at 71st with a final scorecard of 233. Jinger Heath continued to improve upon her scores as the week went on, dropping her round four strokes on the last 18. She placed 76th in the individual competition.
