Women's Golf through two rounds at Sea Best Intercollegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Middle Tennessee women's golf sits fourth overall through two rounds Monday at the Sea Best Intercollegiate at San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida. The Blue Raiders are set to enter the final round at +29.
Middle Tennessee posted rounds of +14 and +15, staying within striking distance of the top three as the tournament heads into its final day. The Blue Raiders trail top-20 teams in Florida and Duke at the top, but remain well-positioned to move up the standings with a strong closing round.
Competing as an individual, Jillian Bowman had the best day as a Blue Raider, placing 10th. She tallied a career-low 69 (-3) in the opening round, following it up with a 75 (+3) in the second to finish the day at par.
Isabella Johnson led the way for Middle Tennessee in the lineup at 19th, shooting rounds at two-over and three-over. Ella Manley followed just behind at six-over on the day. Sitting 24th on the player leaderboard, she tallied an opening round at 76 (+4) and a second round at 74 (+2).
Abbie Lee remained consistent on the day, turning in back-to-back rounds at 76 (+4) to finish the day at 27th overall. Caroline Pardue and Nicole Johnson wrapped up the lineup for Middle Tennessee, sitting at 10-over and 28-over, respectively.
The Blue Raiders will have one final chance to climb the leaderboard tomorrow, with a shotgun start at 9:45 a.m.
