Softball begins fall slate at home

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Softball kicks off the fall season at home this Saturday, September 13. The Blue Raiders will welcome Snead State Community College to the Blue Raider Softball Field for the first contest of the fall. First pitch against the Parsons will be at 1:00 p.m. CT.
The Blue Raiders look to build chemistry for the upcoming regular season, working to integrate eight new Blue Raiders with the returning 12. Impact returners include CUSA Freshman of the Year, First Team All-Conference and CUSA Freshman Team infielder Jana Want, First Team All-Conference catcher Ansley Blevins, Second Team All-Conference and CUSA Freshman Team outfielder Macie Harter.
The newcomers include freshmen Aubrey Baker, Lilly Bethune, Braelyn Hall, Elle Hildreth, Lucie McDonald, Adaeze Nwogbo and Mady Pint. The Blue Raiders also add one transfer in Halle Klaiber, a sophomore pitcher/infielder that comes to Middle Tennessee from Lipscomb.
