Middle Tennessee set to compete at Inverness Intercollegiate

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Days after the win at the Town & Country tournament, the Middle Tennessee women's golf team is headed to Toledo, Ohio to take part in the Inverness Intercollegiate. The two-day tournament is hosted by the University of Toledo at the Inverness Club and will run from Sept. 15-16.
The Lineup
Caroline Pardue is set to make her second start for the Blue Raiders at the top spot after carding her third round at or below par on the season at the Town & Country. Her 72 (E) placed her T4th, tied with Isabella Johnson, who will start second for Middle Tennessee.
Teeing off from the third and fourth spots is Ella Manley and Jillian Bowman, who were crowned the individual co-champions at the Town & Country on Friday. Both Blue Raiders earned their first-ever individual title while marking the first individual championship for Middle Tennessee since 2023.
Rounding out the team lineup is Nicole Johnson, who will play in her second starting five of the season. At the Town & Country, she participated as an individual and carded the fifth-best score for Middle Tennessee at 75 (+3).
Brylee Crouse will participate as an individual after making her Blue Raider debut Friday. She carded a 78 (+6) in the lone round and will play in her first multi-day tournament beginning Monday after redshirting her true freshman season.
The Field
Middle Tennessee will be joined by host Toledo, South Alabama, Florida, Coastal Carolina, Ohio State, Florida Gulf Coast, TCU, NC State, Illinois State, Princeton and Notre Dame. The Blue Raiders will be paired with South Alabama and Princeton for the opening round, while individual Crouse will be paired with individuals from Florida and Ohio State.
The Format
The Intercollegiate will feature a stroke play format with 54 holes. The teams will play two rounds on Monday for 36 holes and a final round on Tuesday to complete the 54. Play will commence with a shotgun start Monday with Crouse beginning at hole 10A and the others Blue Raiders at holes 11-14A.
