Lady Raider Softball Opens Sun Belt Play at FIU Saturday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee softball (17-16) opens the 2002 Sun Belt race when the Lady Raiders travel to Miami, FL to take on FIU (28-23) this weekend. The four game series gets underway on Saturday at 12 p.m. and concludes on Sunday at 10 a.m.. Both days boast double headers. The Lady Raiders are knotted at 3-3 in the series with FIU. In their last meeting, the Panthers defeated MT 5-0 on April 28, 2001. Stayc Preator picked up the loss, allowing five runs on seven hits.
